marstall Amino-Muskel Plus provides sports or leisure horses with pure essential amino acids in concentrated form without soy. It encourages
rapid muscle building and shortens recovery periods.

marstall Amino-Muskel Plus supports both competition horses and leisure horses which are fed predominantly on hay.

The body can only function and create new tissue properly if it has all the amino acids it needs in the right proportions and in sufficient quantities. Even one missing amino acid can slow or reduce muscle building.

For horses in athletic work, care should be taken to ensure that they have a sufficient supply of quality protein. Lastly, essential amino acids are a source of nutrients for the muscles. Even in horses that are intentionally losing weight or fed only on hay, it is often a good idea to feed a high quality amino acid supplement. The same applies for horses that have a specific need, for instance because they naturally have high muscle mass, strong bones and joints or a very luxuriant coat.

marstall Amino-Muskel Plus provides the body with all the essential amino acids it needs. Our marstall Amino-Muskel Plus improves muscle building and rapid recovery after exertion. In sports horses, it also serves as an energy supply for the muscles and
liver, improves muscle function and reduces muscle fatigue.

The digestibility of the amino acids found in hay fed to horses varies between 20 and 74 % (acc. NRC, 2007). Providing colts with a supplement of just the essential amino acid lysine led to significantly better muscle development in trials (Koslowski, 2008).
Supplementing other amino acids resulted in reduced protein breakdown in the muscles during treadmill training (Van den Hoven et al., 2010). Branched-chain amino acids increase protein formation in muscles at rest, reduce protein breakdown and encourage protein synthesis during the recovery phase (Blomstrand et al., 2006).
