FlexoFit
• provides joints & tendons with nutrients
• with MSM, vitamin C, glucosamines & chondroitin sulphate
• scientifically verified
Healthy joints are essential for the physical activity of horses and their well-being in old age. Training, frolicking around and even resting in the stable all put stress on horses’ joints in different ways. marstall FlexoFit quickly provides stressed joints with nutrients, supporting their physiological functions and mobility. The effects of marstall FlexoFit have been scientifically proven and tested in equine clinics. It starts working after just 14 days. marstall FlexoFit supports joint health, especially in growing horses, older horses and sports horses.
Good to know - the study on marstall FlexoFit was presented at the 2013 BEVA Congress.
How does marstall FlexoFit work?
- MSM (methylsulphonylmethane): this organic sulphur compound can reduce inflammatory processes.
- Vitamin C: this highly effective antioxidant is contained in a stable compound (ascorbyl phosphate).
- Glucosamines (glycosaminoglycans, GAG): these enhance tissue elasticity and serve as “lubricants”, e.g. in cartilage and synovial fluid.
- Chondroitin sulphate: this sulphurous GAG binds water and is the main building block of cartilage. FlexoFit contains the smallest and therefore most easily digestible and absorbable chondroitin sulphate molecules.
- DHA (docosahexaenoic acid, omega-3 from seaweed) is important for cell membranes.
- EPA (eicosapentaenoic acids, omega-3 from fish oil): studies assume that feed containing omega-3 fatty acids also has anti-inflammatory and immunological effects on horses.
Here is what science says
marstall FlexoFit (Murray et al., 2013)
Study: Triple-blind, „crossover-placebo“ – neither the grooms, nor the trainers, nor the evaluators know which horses are given placebos and which receive marstall FlexoFit. Each horse belongs once to the trial group and once to the placebo group, with long enough waiting time or „wash-out-periods“ in between. The degree of lameness, the quality/lightness of movement, the mobility and the muscle tone were examined before the test, after 21 days and after 42s days of feeding.
Results: Horses in the marstall FlexoFit group showed a lower degree of lameness and significantly better mobility and muscle tone. Rideability, ground work and lightness of movement were judged by the riders as having improved significantly. Prolonged feeding with marstall Perfekt, danke :)FlexoFit resulted in consistently positive results.
