Naturgold Maisflocken

Naturgold Maisflocken

Why do we go to the trouble of "turning" maize grains into flakes before they end up in our cereals? Quite simply because flakes are better for the horses than ground or whole maize. Already more than 35 years ago marstall was a pioneer in making the nutrients in grain more available and more digestible for the horse by means of steam and rolling. In figures, this hydrothermal digestion of maize results in a good 50% better digestibility of starch compared to whole grain.
Thus our crunchy marstall Naturgold Maisflocken (corn flakes) are a high-energy and low-protein feed for high performance and weight gain. Due to their low protein content, they also score points with a low allergy potential.
