ProGastro
- stomach
- with pectin-lecithin complex, magnesium and live yeast
- scientifically verified
Gastrointestinal problems are among the most common internal complaints in horses. Physical and psychological stress often put a strain on the sensitive digestive tract.
Good to know - ProGastro can be combined with medications, such as omeprazole, without any problems (Kohler et al. 2010).
ProGastro from marstall helps to soothe the stomach walls, control the production of stomach acid and keep the natural processes in the intestine healthy. Radical scavengers, especially vitamin C, can dampen oxidative stress and regulate the natural acid-base balance. In this way, they make a valuable contribution to hamonising the gastrointestinal environment and reducing the consequences of stress.
The ProGastro complex promotes the concentration of mucus in the gastric juice. This helps to protect the stomach wall from aggressive acid. The combination of magnesium hydroxide, pectin-lecithin complex and live yeast specifically supports the stomach (Köller et al. 2010).

Feeding advice
Distribute the powder over at least 2 portions per day. Mix with concentrated feed (e.g. Sinfonie) or mash. Do not exceed recommended feeding amounts. It is generally recommended to seek the advice of a professional before feeding a dietary feed.
This supplementary feed for horses may only be fed according to the recommendations given here due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds.
Our recommendations are based on a roughage (hay) content of 1.5 kg per 100 kg live weight and day.
