marstall Salzstein is a piece of natural salt from the Himalayas! When the Himalaya massif was formed, 250 million years ago, enormous salt deposits were created in its southwestern foothills. marstall Salzstein blocks are mined, washed in salt water, dried in the sun and individually wrapped. Unlike other salt licks, obtained by washing them out of salt mines using steam pressure, marstall Salzstein retains all the natural minerals and trace elements of
pure, natural salt. Each individual block is unique and as pure and rich in minerals as when it was first formed. Every marstall Salzstein block is graded as table salt quality according to the Codex Alimentarius with high NaCl levels of > 97.50 %. They are supplied drilled and with a cord, making them easy to secure.
