The body can only function and create new tissue properly if it has all the amino acids it needs in the right proportions and in sufficient quantities. Even one missing amino acid can slow or reduce muscle building.
For horses in athletic work, care should be taken to ensure that they have a sufficient supply of quality protein. Lastly, essential amino acids are a source of nutrients for the muscles. Even in horses that are intentionally losing weight or fed only on hay, it is often a good idea to feed a high quality amino acid supplement. The same applies for horses that have a specific need, for instance because they naturally have high muscle mass, strong bones and joints or a very luxuriant coat.
Thanks to the cereal-free formula, marstall Amino-Muskel is also suitable for horses that need to be fed a low-starch and low-sugar diet.
